Fans of Samsung are ready to wait for this year’s incredible S24. This Samsung advancement was left out of the wine bottle in the recently completed year of 2023. S24, like S23, has three grades: S24, S24plus, and S24 Ultra. The striking similarity between the features of the three grades is impressive.
What distinguishes these grades from one another?
One cannot anticipate anything less of S24 grades after observing the parallels and differences between S23 and S24 grades. When compared to its dissimilarities, s24’s commonalities are intangible. The s24 and s24 plus have an aluminium frame and black lenses, whilst the s24 Ultra has a Titanium frame with almost the same black lenses as the Apple iPhone 15. All Samsung 24 grades have the same water resistance (IP68) (maximum of 1.5 metres deep for 30 minutes), and the amount of brightness is estimated to be 2600 nits. Typically, a monitor’s brightness level should be between 400 and 700 nits in order to provide acceptable visibility during daylight hours. A high brightness display (sunlight-readable LCD display) requires at least 1,000 nits or higher for direct, bright sunlight.
It is a huge improvement, in my opinion. Some may believe that the three S24 ratings are simply a matter of personal preference. I have no objections to this, except that several features have shown this premise incorrect.
Let’s examine these qualities in more detail.
1.Storage. The S24 and S24+ have 8GB RAM (Random Access Memory) and 12GB RAM, respectively, while the S24 Ultra has 12GB RAM/1TB. This indicates that the S24 Ultra can hold more data in order to enable the computer processor to operate apps smoothly and effectively as well as to allow files to be opened on the phone

Samsung’s selling point for the S23 is, among many other things, its camera. Astute Samsung customers will concur. S24 isn’t having much of an impact right now, but it most likely will in the future. S24 and S24 Plus have a 12mp ultrawide camera with a telephoto of 10mp 3x, while the S24 Ultra has a 50mp ultrawide camera with a telephoto of 10mp 3x.
3. Power capacity.

Regions that experience blackouts, particularly African countries, considered the strength of the phone battery before purchasing. S23 and s24 have been rumoured to have 4000mAh (13 hours of internet browsing, 20 hours of video watching, 48 hours of standby capability according to flipkart.com) and 4900mAh (35 hours of talk time possibility according to sonimtech.com) respectively, with 25w as the charging speed and 45w as the charging speed.
4. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The long-awaited Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in S24 is what S24 promised, an advancement above the S23 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 S24, like the S23, could be regionally based. Regions such as the United States may have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 while others may have the Exynos 2200. Historically, the difference between Exynos and Qualcomm chipsets isn’t clear to most buyers in day-to-day use, only becoming apparent in benchmark tests. That seems like a funny thing.
In conclusion, though the Samsung S24 series has enhanced features including sharper screens, faster processors, and more storage—especially with the Ultra model—the distinctions between the three models in the range are not tangible. The S24 and S24+ have an aluminum frame and a 3x telephoto lens in common, but the S24 Ultra stands out with its titanium frame, 12GB RAM/1TB storage option, and 5x optical zoom.
Finally, the choice between the three comes down to personal needs and tastes, with storage, camera capabilities, and battery life being the primary differentiators.
